Condition Assessment and Asset Management Services
Insight Civil is supporting JACOBS on a multi-year contract to provide on-call asset management services for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey (PANYNJ). The project team will receive task orders to perform data collection, inventory and asset management services on all categories of client-owned assets. Task Order #2 is for asset management and data collection services for a bridge and bus terminal owned and maintained by PANYNJ. Insight Civil staff will execute an asset tagging plan according to an asset tagging protocol defined by the Authority, and inventory/catalogue all asset information into the client’s enterprise asset management system.
Insight Civil buildings and facilities consultants supported the JACOBS team with data collection, condition assessment, and quality control work in accordance with client-mandated training and security protocols. Staff from the Buildings + Facilities Consulting group played a critical role in data quality assurance of asset level conditions and QAQC’ing field data by Asset Data Specifications (ADS) before it is reported to the client. Asset types covered under this task order contract include but are not limited to over 15,000 asset types associated with operation of the bridge and bus terminal facility. Asset types include elevators, escalators, fire alarm systems, water supply, standpipes, fire suppression system components, fire extinguishers, communications equipment, HVAC units, room types, pumps, condensers, building structures, parking structures, building system controls, roadway and traffic signals/ITS, security systems, electrical network, radio equipment, and IT systems.
